Early Fall Wildflower Wedding in PA
This wedding was extra special for me. The couple, John and Melissa, were old farming friends of mine back before I started Color Fields. Farm crews deal with a lot and form a special bond that can be hard to explain to others that haven’t experienced it before.
My spouse and I had just moved from New York City to Pennsylvania for me to take a management position at a farm in Chester County, PA. We had no idea what to expect and just had our fingers crossed that we had made the right decision.
John and Melissa were instantly welcoming and so kind. They made me feel so much better about uprooting our entire lives to go live in some random small town in SE Pennsylvania. They were from the area, had met in art school and reminded me that there are incredible people everywhere, even in small towns in PA.
Both are artists and amazingly creative in their own ways. They give the biggest hugs, deliver the biggest laughs and share a love that is incredibly beautiful.
Seeing these two get married and being able to celebrate their love and their dedication to one another really reminded me why this work is so special. No doubt their love and loads of laughter will last a lifetime.
